Security Philosophy
Principles
Syladon Technologies treats security as ongoing risk management. The goal of any engagement is to reduce and manage risk with measurable, defensible controls — not to claim that a system is invulnerable. Anyone promising guaranteed protection is selling a story rather than doing the work.
- Evidence over assertion. Recommendations are grounded in what the configuration and logs actually show, with assumptions and limits stated plainly.
- Least privilege. Access is scoped to the work, time-bound where possible, and removed when an engagement ends.
- Defensible and observable. An environment should be configured so that, if something goes wrong, it can actually be investigated.
- No fear marketing. Risk is described accurately and calmly, without manufactured urgency.
How this website reflects that
This site is built to the same standard we recommend to clients. In practice that means:
-
A strict Content Security Policy and a full set of security response
headers (HSTS,
X-Content-Type-Options, a restrictiveReferrer-PolicyandPermissions-Policy, and framing restrictions). - Static HTML with minimal, same-origin JavaScript — no heavy client framework and no third-party tag managers.
- No advertising trackers, no Google Analytics by default, and no unnecessary cookies — so no intrusive cookie banner is required.
- A contact form protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, validated server-side, with no submissions stored in a database.
- Secrets kept only in environment variables, never in source or client code.
Reporting a security issue
If you believe you have found a security issue affecting this website, please contact ty@syladon.com and review our responsible disclosure policy. We appreciate good-faith research and will coordinate on any confirmed issue.
What we do not claim
Syladon Technologies does not hold or imply any specific security certification unless and until such a credential is verified and published here. Security engagements reduce risk; they do not guarantee outcomes, and no control set makes any environment fully secure.
